Description
abm | BRCA1 CRISPR Stable Knockout Human Fibroblast Cell Line | T6245
BRCA1 is a tumor suppressor gene that plays a significant role in DNA repair pathways. Human fibroblast cells were transfected with CRISPR/Cas9 plasmids which target BRCA1 to generate the BRCA1 CRISPR Stable Knockout Human Fibroblast Cell Line. This cell line demonstrates that a deficiency in a single oncosuppressor gene can be enough to allow a malignant transformation when exposed to human cancer serum. In addition, this cell line illustrates that there may be a non-classical pathway to explain cancer trait exchange in malignant and non malignant cells.
