ERBB4 and ERBB3-V723L Stable Ba/F3 Cell Line expresses full length ORF of ERBB4 (MSCV-puro vector) and ERBB3 V723L mutant (MSCV-neo vector).
ERBB4 and ERBB3 belongs to the EGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases consisting of proteins which bind to epidermal growth factors. Although they are important in development as they aid in the development of proper organs during embryogenesis and also maintain adult cardiac function, these proteins are best known for their role in oncogenesis. ERBB4 binds to and is activated by neuregulins and other factors and induces a variety of cellular responses including mitogenesis and differentiation. ERBB3 is an oncogenic target, in which V723L mutation may be of interest for study.
