Description
abm | GFP-Tagged ARP1 Stable Expressing HeLa Cell Line | T6342
These particular HeLa cells stably express the ARP1 (actin related protein-1) protein, a subunit of dynactin. Dynactin's role in the cell is to bind to microtubules and cytoplasmic dynein. ARP1 has been shown to be the domain of dynactin that binds to membrane vesicles. It is involved in various processes such as ER-golgi transport and chromosome movement. These cells are designed to be suitable for research in cell cycle progression.
High magnifications (400-1000x) are required to observe the GFP-tagged fusion due to the intracellular localization of specific subcellular structures.
