Description
abm | hSSAO-VAP-1 A7r5 Stable Cell Line | T3155
SSAO (semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase) has been associated with diabetes, Alzheimer’s, atherosclerosis, and stroke. Thus, it is necessary to have a reliable source of cells which expresses the desired protein for studies in its role and activity in pathways. The hSSAO/VAP-1 A7r5 Stable Cell Line stably expresses SSAO/VAP-1 in the plasma membrane, and releases SSAO into the culture medium. This cell line does not exhibit MAO-A nor MAO-B activities. It is a valuable source for studies in SSAO/VAP-1 membrane-bound form enzyme as a therapeutic target.
