Description
abm | Recombinant Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) | Z100615
XCL1, also known as lymphotactin or ATAC, is the sole member of the C subgroup of chemokines, and more importantly, is produced mainly by activated CD8 T cells (and to a lesser extent by natural killer and mast cells). The chemotactic activity of XCL1 is restricted to lymphocytes and has no effect on monocytes.
Functions:
Activity was determined by the ability to induce chemotaxis of human T-cells at concentrations ranging between 50-100 ng/ml.
Organism:
Human
Source:
E. coli
Alias:
ATAC, C motif chemokine 1, Cytokine SCM-1, Lymphotaxin, SCM-1-alpha, Small-inducible cytokine C1, XC chemokine ligand 1, XCL1, LTN, SCYC1
Gene Symbol:
XCL1
Gene ID:
6375
Accession:
P47992
Formulation:
Recombinant Lymphotactin was lyophilzed from 0.2μm filtered PBS, pH 7.0.
Solubility:
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Appearance:
Lyophilized Powder
Molecular Weight (kDa):
10
Molecular Weight 2 (kDA):
N/A
Molecular Weight 3 (kDA):
N/A
Purity:
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Concentration:
<1.0 EU/μg of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.
Shipping Condition :
Ambient Temperature
Storage Condition:
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
