Description
abm | Recombinant Human TFF2 | Z101989
Found in the gastrointestinal tract, the three Trefoil proteins, TFF1, 2, and 3 have been shown to play an important role in intestinal mucosal defence and repair. Specifically, TFF2 has been shown to inhibit gastrointestinal motility and secretion of the gastric acid.

The ED(50) was determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of immortalized human pancreatic cells and was found to be <5ng/mL.
