Description
abm | SIAT1 Stable Expressing MDCK (MDCK-SIAT1) Cell Line | T6999
The SIAT1 Stable Expressing MDCK (MDCK-SIAT1) Cell Line was generated by stable transfection of MDCK cells with the cDNA of human 2,6-sialtransferase (SIAT1). When compared to the parental MDCK cells, the MDCK-SIAT1 is able to express increased levels of α-2,6-linked sialic acid receptors for isolation of circulating influenza virus. The SIAT1 Stable Expressing MDCK (MDCK-SIAT1) Cell Line is useful in isolation and propagation of human influenza viruses for observation, diagnostic, and research purposes.
