NEDD9, or Neural precursor cell expressed developmentally downregulated 9, has been associated marker for metastatic signatures of melanoma and other cancer such as, breast cancer, glioblastoma, lung cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. SCC9 cells were transfected with a plasmid carrying F14-NEDD9 with N-terminal EGFP. Stably F14-NEDD9 expressing cells were selected for via Geneticin to establish the F14-NEDD9 Stable SCC9 Cell Line which may be used to further study cancer biology and metastatic properties.
