Description
abm | GNAO1 Stably Expressing Immortalized Human Mammary Epithelial Cell Line | T6201
GNAO1 Stably Expressing Immortalized Human Mammary Epithelial Cell line expresses GNAO1, the protein of which represent the alpha subunit of the G0 heterotrimeric G-protein signal-transducing complex and is partially responsible for smooth muscle contraction and depressing neuronal activity. They function to inhibit of adenylate cyclase , open K+-channels (via β/γ subunits), and close Ca2+-channels. Researchers may use this cell line to study G-protein signal-transducing pathways in humans. Defects in the GNAO1 gene are known as a cause of early-onset epileptic encephalopathy. This cell line was made using retrovirus transduction. It carries flag tag and expresses GFP.
