Description
abm | Lhx5 Stable Neuro2 Cell Line | T6277
Lhx5 is a transcription factor with restricted Mamillary body (MBO) expression. LHX5 is a member of the LHX family of transcription factors acting as important differentiation determinants, and it is strongly expressed in the caudal hypothalamus from very early stages (E9.5) and plays a specific role in forebrain development. Lhx5 has an essential role in several different developmental pathways regulating MBO specification and differentiation. This cell can help study the mechanisms behind how neuronal identity are integrated with upstream regional specification networks. Neuro2 cell line demostrates virus susceptibility to: Herpes simplex virus, Vesicular stomatitis virus, and Humnn poliovirus 1.
