Description
abm | Recombinant Human TTK (N-GST tag) | Z500398
TTK is a serine/threonine kinase that has been implicated in the regulation of centrosome duplication and mitotic checkpoint response. Overexpressing of dominant-negative TTK in human cell lines prevents centrosome duplication while active TTK accelerates centrosome reduplication in an osteosarcoma cell line. Disruption of TTK function leads to a combination of severe mitotic abnormalities and failure in centrosome duplication . TTK is required for stabilization and activation of p53 during spindle disruption. TTK phoshorylates the N-terminal domain of p53 at Thr18, and this phosphorylation disrupts the interaction with MDM2 and abrogates MDM2-mediated p53 ubiquitination .
